China: CIC Boluomiao Shipyard Completes Repair Works for Vessel Feng Sheng You 16

CIC Boluomiao Shipyard successfully finished repair project for vessel M/V “FengShengYou 16”. The subject vessel arrived at the yard on Oct 2nd, and her repair period was 17 days. One of the major repair projects was to replace the plate of 135 m2 and the inner structure of 50 m2.

It was quite difficult to fulfill this project in short time period and with high technology requirement. Facing the challenge, the shipyard’s leaders worked out an efficient & safety plan and all of the departments cooperated closely, ensuring the supply of technology, quality, safety, and abundant labor force.

With the joint effort of every department, the vessel was repaired safely with high quality and sailed duly as schedule.

Besides the above mentioned project, the other major projects of “FengShengYou 16” were the check & repair of main engine, three electric generators, and regular docking survey. Furthermore, the other two ships from the same shipping company are under repair in good order.
