IKM Subsea Bags ROV Services Contract for Myanmar Project

IKM Subsea Singapore has been awarded a contract by Larsen & Toubro for ROV services onboard the LTS3000 for their project in Myanmar.

Equipment would be mobilized in mid-October and the project is anticipated to run through till end January 2013 for pipeline and jacket installation. They would like to build on this project and establish themselves as a strong player in this region.

IKM Subsea would be providing the in house built Merlin WR200 Workclass ROV and the Sub Atlantic Comanche onboard the vessel to support the operations. IKM Subsea Business Development Manager, Mahesh Govindan says this contract award is a significant accomplishment for the company who recently started the office in Singapore early this year.

The company intends to grow rapidly as a Stand Alone ROV operator and would expand the ROV fleet further with 2 more Workclass ROVs in Q1 2013.
