1. Technip Nets Largest Subsea Contract for Moho Nord Off Congo

Technip was awarded by Total E&P Congo a major lump-sum contract for the engineering, procurement, supply, construction, installation (EPSCI) and pre-commissioning for the Moho Nord development project. This project is located approximately 75 kilometers off the coast of the Republic of the Congo, at water depths ranging from 650 to 1,100 meters.

2. Subsea 7 Awarded $350 Mln Contract from Petrobras in Brazil

Subsea 7 S.A. announced the award of a contract worth in excess of U$350 million from Petrobras. The contract is for the operation of the Pipe Lay Support Vessel (PLSV) Kommandor 3000 on a day rate basis for five years.

3. VIDEO: O-lay Pipeline Installation Method Presented

O-lay is a state-of-the-art disruptive method to install offshore pipeline in a safe way and with a minimum of costs.

4. UK: HHI Wins USD 1.9 Bln FPSO Order from Chevron

Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI), the world’s biggest shipbuilder and a leading offshore facilities contractor, today announced it won a USD 1.9 billion order to build a Floating Production Storage and Offloading unit (FPSO) for Chevron North Sea Ltd.

5. McDermott Wins Two Contracts for Arabian Gulf Customer

McDermott International, Inc. announced today that one of its subsidiaries has been awarded two projects for a customer in the Arabian Gulf. The value of these contracts is approximately US$900 million and is included in McDermott’s first quarter 2013 backlog.
