Eagle LNG request initiation of pre-filing procedures

Eagle LNG Partners sent a request to the U.S. Federal Energy Regulatory Commission for the initiation of pre-filing environmental review procedures for a proposed liquefaction and export terminal in the City of Jacksonville.

The company plans to file an application with FERC for the authorisation to site, construct and operate the Jacksonville project upon completion of the pre-filing process, stands in the request.

Eagle LNG proposed to construct a facility in the City of Jacksonville, Florida, on the St. Johns River, on a 197 acre site.

At full build-out the project would include three liquefaction trains with the capacity of producing 300,000 gallons of LNG per train, or total of 0.55 MMtpa for all three trains. One storage tank with the possibility for a second one will be built together with marine load-out facility and a dock able to accommodate small to mid-size LNG carriers as well as bunkering barges. It would also include a truck loading facility.
