Report: Donggi-Senoro LNG to up cargo output

Donggi-Senoro LNG facility in Indonesia is looking to up its production capacity in 2016, according to DSLNG’s president director Gusrizal.

He revealed at a press conference on Monday that the plant will increase output from currently expected 12 cargoes in 2015 to 36 cargoes in 2016, Reuters reports.

The majority of 2016 production, 23 cargoes of liquefied natural gas will be sold to long term buyers while the remaining 13 cargoes are expected to be sold on the spot market.

DSLNG’s 2 mtpa of capacity has been booked by Japan’s Chubu Electric 1.0 mtpa, and Kyushu Electric 0.3 mtpa and South Korea’s Kogas 0.7 mtpa.

Kogas is also a shareholder in the projects together with Mitsubishi Corporation, Medco Energy and Indonesia’s Pertamina.
