The 210,100 cbm LNG carrier Al Oraiq, that in October crashed with Dutch freighter Flinterstar off Belgium, has left the Belfast Harbour in Northern Ireland during the weekend, port data shows.

The Q-Flex carrier, managed by K Line LNG Shipping (UK), entered the Harland and Wolff ship repair facility at the end of October.

As reported earlier, the repair works were mainly located on the vessels’ bow. The LNG tanker was dry docked at the facility for nearly two months.

It is not known whether there were any additional works on the 315m long vessel.

K Line LNG Shipping did not respond to an e-mail by LNG World News seeking comment regarding the matter by the time this article was published.
