South Korea: December LNG Imports Down

South Korea, the world’s second-largest buyer of LNG, imported 4.3 million tonnes of LNG in December, down 9.5% from the same month in 2011, customs data showed.

The country  imported 3 million tonnes of LNG in November.

South Korea paid $3.29 billion for the LNG imported in December, compared with $3.58 billion a year earlier.
