Aker Buys Shares in Aker Solutions

Aker said it has acquired 16,440,000 shares in Aker Solutions at a price of NOK 115 per share. The shares were acquired after close of markets yesterday through an accelerated book-building process managed by ABG Sundal Collier Norge ASA and Arctic Securities ASA.

The company now holds directly 16,440,000 shares (~6 per cent of the share capital) in Aker Solutions. As a consequence of the transaction Aker has passed the threshold of 5 per cent of the outstanding share capital in Aker Solutions.

Aker also owns 70 per cent of the shares in Aker Kvaerner Holding, which in turn owns 110 333 615 shares, representing 40.3 per cent of the outstanding shares in Aker Solutions.
