Kuwait LNG Contract Goes to SPT Marine Transfer

SPT Marine Transfer Services announced the contract award for Provision of Technical Support Services to KNPC (Kuwait National Petroleum Company) at their Mina Al Ahmadi GasPort in Kuwait.

The LNG Import facility at Mina Al Ahmadi is used to supply additional clean fuel for the increased power demand of the country during the summer months.

The SPT group of companies has been involved with Mina Al Ahmadi GasPort since the project inception in 2007 and for the past three years has been contracted directly to KNPC providing Technical Support for over 140 incident free LNG ship to ship (STS) transfer operations during this time.

The signing of the new 5 year contract  further cements the relationship between the two companies and ushers in a new era of co-operation between KNPC and SPT Marine Transfer Services Ltd.
