Vattenfall has launched a tender seeking contractors to provide remotely operated vehicle (ROV) inspections and seabed survey services across its offshore wind portfolio in Denmark, Sweden, the Netherlands and the UK from 2027.

According to a contract notice from August 4, the company is looking to enter framework agreements for ROV inspections and multibeam echo sounder (MBES) seabed surveys, which will be awarded through a competitive negotiated procedure.

Vattenfall plans to appoint up to five suppliers for the ROV inspection lot and up to seven suppliers for the seabed survey lot following the completion of the tender, which has an estimated value of €8 million.

Interested companies have until September 9, 2026, to submit requests to participate.

The contracts will run for an initial period of two years, with options to extend twice by one year.

According to the procurement schedule, framework agreements are expected to be signed by the end of May 2027, with services commencing from June 2027.

The company said detailed technical requirements will be provided during the tender process.
