Qatari LNG on Way to India

Petronet’s Dahej terminal on India’s west coast is due to get a cargo of liquefied natural gas from Qatar on Sunday, shipping data reveals.

The 155,000 cbm Aseem, managed by the Shipping Corporation of India, departed from the Ras Laffan port early this morning, the data shows.

To meet the growing demand of natural gas for electricity and fertilizer, more than 10 additional LNG import terminals are now planned to be built in India.
