China: Jinhai Heavy Industry Signs Strategic Cooperation Agreement with Lloyd’s Register

On June 29, the signing ceremony of strategic cooperation agreement bet. Jinhai Heavy Industry and Lloyd’s Register Classification Society (China) Co., Ltd was held in Jinhai Heavy Industry. Chief Executive of Lloyd’s Register Mr. Richard Sadler and President of Jinhai Heavy Industry Mr. Li Guofeng attended the ceremony together with Lloyd’s Register Group and other leaders from our company. The agreement was signed by General Manager of Lloyd’s Register in East China Mr. Gai Fengjin and Vice President of Jinhai Heavy Industry Mr. Lu Peijing. The signing ceremony was hosting by Mr. Gao Jian, Director of Human Resource Department.

At the beginning of this year, Jinhai Heavy Industry and Lloyd’s Register of Shipping had a friendly cooperation on shipping supervision of J0033 and J0034. The signing of overall strategic cooperation agreement bet. Lloyd’s Register of Shipping and Jinhai Heavy Industry, held during historical recovery periods for international ship, is to meet the market demand and promote wider and deeper cooperation. Taking this opportunity, Jinhai Heavy Industry will make full use of our advantages, improve the cooperation with Lloyd’s Register of Shipping on construction technology, ship inspection, product optimization certification, the new ship r&d, etc, to achieve mutual benefits and common development, and make contributions to the rapid recovery and prosperity of Chinese shipping industry.
