Finland: Mobimar Oy Ltd Receives Contract to Build Three 12m Rescue Boats

The Finnish Lifeboat Institution, Suomen Meripelastusseura, awarded rescue boat contract to Mobimar Oy Ltd Turku, Finland based company. Mobimar Oy Ltd is supposed to deliver three rescue boats in 2012. Value of the contract is 4,290,000 EUR.

The contract includes supply of fully equipped 12m rescue boats, Aluminum or FRP hull, equipped with diesel jet-propulsion systems. The three boats should be delivered in the 2012 as well as options for 4 additional boats in the year 2013- 2014. The contract is likely to be sub-contracted.

During the tender proces award several offers came to Finnish Lifeboat Institution but Mobimar Oy Ltd was picked up as the best supplier stated Finnish Lifeboat Institution . The contract was signed under the open procedure tender No. MPA 2012-2014.
