Adriatic LNG awaiting Qatari cargo

Italy is set to receive an LNG cargo at its offshore terminal in the northern Adriatic Sea, shipping data shows. 


The 151,700 cbm Al Daayen departed from the Ras Laffan port in Qatar on Monday, and it is due to to arrive at the Adriatic LNG terminal on October 16, the data shows.

The LNG terminal, located offshore of Porto Levante, recently celebrated five years since the arrival of the first LNG tanker in August of 2009.

Adriatic LNG is owned by Qatar Petroleum, ExxonMobil and Edison.
