Afai Delivers Rescue Vessel DONG HAI JIU 202

DONG HAI JIU 202, the fifth coastal fast rescue vessel built by Afai for China rescue and salvage system, was delivered to the customer on the morning of September 24, 2013.

Afai’s General Manager Mr. Wu Mingyi and the Deputy Director General of Donghai Rescue Bureau Mr. Xiao Yuehua signed the delivery documents on behalf of both sides.

This vessel is a full aluminum wave-piercing catamaran, propelled by twin engines and twin waterjets, with large deck area, fine navigability, high speed and maneuverability. She has a capacity to carry a maximum of 200 rescued people, and meets the relevant requirements of the CCS rules on rescue vessels and aluminum high speed vessels.

The vessel will be in service in the Donghai Rescue Bureau.
