Afai Southern Wins Contract to Build Three Fast Rescue Vessels for China's Rescue & Salvage Bureau

Recently, Afai Southern won the project to build 3 costal fast rescue vessels (No.4-No.6) for Rescue & Salvage Bureau of the Communication Ministry of P. R. China.

In 2004, Afai Southern won the first batch of rescue vessels (No. 1-No. 3), and accomplished the building construction of such three vessels in 2005-2006 with good quality, which made solid foundation to win the bidding for this subsequent project of No.4-No.6 vessels.

This type of vessels is full aluminum wave piercing catamaran, propelled by twin engines and twin waterjets. The vessels will be classed by CCS. These vessels will be used to undertake social public welfare task of human life rescue.
