AGR wins Woodside well services deal
The well design and drilling project management company, AGR, has been contracted by Woodside to deliver drilling, completions, well site and well engineering services.
The outline agreement has a four-year term, AGR said in a statement.
Australian LNG player, Woodside, recently hit has off Myanmar in the Southern Rakhine Basin. The Pyi Thit-1 well in Block A-6 intersected a gross gas column of approximately 65 m. Approximately 36 m of net gas pay is interpreted within the primary target interval in sandstone reservoirs.
The company’s global exploration portfolio includes emerging and frontier provinces in Australia and the Asia-Pacific region, the Atlantic Margins and Sub-Saharan Africa.
Woodside holds equity interest in high-quality development opportunities in Australia, Senegal, Myanmar and North America.
