Almaco Awarded ‘Floatel Endurance’ Job

ALMACO Group was awarded a new building contract from Singapore’s Keppel FELS for Modular Cabins and Public Spaces on board Floatel International’s Floatel Endurance.

The scope includes four accommodation decks and three public area decks, with a total of 440 single-bed, NORSOK-compliant modular cabins and 1,500 square meters of public areas such as corridors, lounges, offices, messes and others. The expected delivery is Q1 2015 and works will be carried out in Singapore.

USD 315 million

Floatel Endurance, worth US$315 million, will be built to the Floatel Superior design, a DSSTM 20NS design developed by GustoMSC and Keppel FELS’ Deepwater Technology Group. Equipped with Dynamic Positioning (DP) 3 capability, it will meet the most stringent rules and regulations for worldwide operations including the Norwegian Sector.
