Another LNG delivery for UK

South Hook LNG terminal in the UK has had a very active start to the year 2015.

The terminal has another delivery of Qatari cargo scheduled for January 15, only one day after the Al Shamal LNG carrier arrives at the terminal, port data shows.

The cargo delivered onboard the 266,000 cbm Al Mafyar LNG carrier will also be the third delivery to South Hook in five days.

The South Hook terminal can process 15.6 million tonnes of LNG a year and is capable of delivering 21 billion cubic metres of gas a year into the UK’s national transmission system.

Qatar Petroleum owns 67.5 per cent of South Hook LNG Terminal Co, Exxon Mobil Corp 24.15 per cent and Total SA owns the rest.
