APL Extends Bosphorus Service

Singapore-based container shipping company APL said its Bosphorus (BEX) service will be making additional calls at Beirut (Lebanon) and Iskenderun (Turkey), in addition to its current coverage of Asia, the Mediterranean and Europe. 

“APL is expanding our presence in the Asia Mediterranean/Europe trade lane where we currently offer 7 services that connect Asia to the Mediterranean and Europe,”

With the new port coverage, the BEX will call the ports of Kwangyang, Busan, Yangshan, Ningbo, Chiwan, Port Klang, Port Said West, Beirut, Iskenderun, Izmit, Istanbul, Constanta and Odessa.

The first sailing will depart Kwangyang on 27 July 2016, according to the company.

APL, part of the CMA CGM Group, offers transcontinental cargo shipping across Asia, North and South America, Europe, the Middle East, the Indian subcontinent and Australia.
