The 148,000 cbm LNG tanker Arctic Lady is sailing again after it has recently undergone a major overhaul at Damen Shiprepair Brest in France.

All work, such as the overhaul of main and auxiliary propulsion systems as well as all of her LNG cargo equipment (tanks, pumps, safety valves, etc.) were carried out on-time and to the highest set quality standards,” Germany-based ship repair company, Turbo Technik, said in a statement.

According to the company, this was a scheduled routine 10-year overhaul for the liquefied natural gas tanker.

The vessel, owned by Höegh LNG, is under a 20-year time charter contract to France’s Total.  The contract started in April 2006.
