Argentina: no LNG tender before March 2015

Argentina unloaded just three LNG cargoes in the first half of October with a total volume of 388,289 cbm.

Platts reports that Argentina will not issue a tender for new LNG cargoes before March 2015 or even later, as weak demand and excess natural gas supply continue.

In August, YPF officials said there were no immediate plans to issue an LNG supply tender for the fourth quarter of 2014 and calendar year 2015, with current supplies providing enough stock for at least six months.
