Argentina set for Point Fortin LNG cargo

Trinidad and Tobago exported a liquefied natural gas cargo from the Point Fortin terminal to Argentina on Saturday.

The cargo is being carried by the 138,119 cbm Catalunya Spirit, and it is scheduled to arrive at the Escobar LNG terminal on June 17, shipping data reveals.

The Escobar terminal on the Parana River has a baseload throughput capacity of 500 MMcf/d and uses Excelerate Energy’s FSRU Exemplar to flow gas into Argentina’s natural gas grid.
