Atlantic Offshore takes delivery of ERRV Ocean Marlin

Atlantic Offshore has reported that Ocean Marlin Emergency Response & Rescue Vessel has been delivered from Zamakona yard in San Sebastian, Spain.

Atlantic Offshore takes delivery of MRV Ocean Marlin

The Ocean Marlin ERRV will now sail for Stavanger where the naming ceremony that is scheduled for Wednesday, August 13, 2014 will be held.

Ocean Marlin is the second of three HY 820 design ordered by Atlantic Offshore. The vessel will start a 4 + 4 year contract with Total E&P Norway.

Ocean Marlin will serve as ERRV at the Martin Linge field, in the Norwegian part of the North Sea.

The principal responsibility of the vessel will be to provide immediate assistance in emergency situations to offshore oil rigs and installations.

The vessel has a length of 66.8 meters, a breadth of 16 meters and two MAN motors with a capacity of 2500 KW each. It can accommodate a crew of 21 persons.
