Azonto Petroleum Limited announces the appointment of Francis Gryspeerdt as VP Subsurface, effective from 12 May 2014.

Francis Gryspeerdt, a seasoned petroleum geologist and manager, has followed a 30 year international upstream career gaining extensive experience in West and Central African operations. He has managed assets from frontier exploration through to mature field life extension in Africa, the Middle East, Europe and Latin America.

After graduating from Reading University with a BSc in Geology, Gryspeerdt spent over 20 years with Perenco in various roles from Geologist, Geoscience Manager and Exploration Manager.

He also has extensive experience of field development geoscience and well drilling and production operations. Before joining Azonto he held management positions in several independent E&P companies, most recently in White Rose Energy Ventures LLP and Gulfsands Petroleum Plc, working not only on exploration and appraisal assets but also on new venture capture in West, Central and North Africa regions.
