Baker Hughes: U.S. offshore rigs down by two

Baker Hughes has posted Weekly Rig Count reports to its Investor Relations website, according to which the U.S. Offshore rig count is down by 2.

BHI Rig Count: U.S. +6 to 1861 rigs

U.S. Rig Count is up 6 rigs from last week to 1861, with oil rigs up 3 to 1531, gas rigs up 3 to 326, and miscellaneous rigs unchanged at 4.

U.S. Rig Count is up 92 rigs from last year at 1769, with oil rigs up 123, gas rigs down 28, and miscellaneous rigs down 3.
The U.S. Offshore rig count is 57, down 2 rigs from last week, and up 5 rigs year over year.
BHI Rig Count: Canada +8 to 153 rigs

Canadian Rig Count is up 8 rigs from last week to 153, with oil rigs up 8 to 62, and gas rigs unchanged at 91.

Canadian Rig Count is up 30 rigs from last year at 123, with oil rigs down 8, and gas rigs up 38.
