Baker Hughes Incorporated has posted Weekly Rig Count report on Friday. According to the report the U.S. Offshore rig count is 54, unchanged from last week, and up 3 rigs year over year.

BHI Rig Count: U.S. – 7 to 1854 rigs

U.S. Rig Count is down 7 rigs from last week to 1854, with oil rigs down 7 to 1527, gas rigs unchanged at 323, and miscellaneous rigs unchanged at 4.

U.S. Rig Count is up 90 rigs from last year at 1764, with oil rigs up 124, gas rigs down 31, and miscellaneous rigs down 3.
BHI Rig Count: Canada – 5 to 163 rigs

Canadian Rig Count is down 5 rigs from last week to 163, with oil rigs down 2 to 67, and gas rigs down 3 to 96.

Canadian Rig Count is up 42 rigs from last year at 121, with oil rigs up 1, and gas rigs up 41.
