Two More Members Apply to Join NGVA Europe’s BoD

NGVA Europe announced that two more of its members have applied for seats on the association’s Board of Directors: Holding Energie Italiane and Raufoss Fuel Systems.

They will have to be officially confirmed by the next annual General Meeting to join NGVA Europe’s governing body.

Holding Energie Italiane was formed by two private Italian groups deeply rooted in their home territory – Bluenergy Group and Roma Gas & Power – fostering their own development and introducing themselves to all market players as a strong and reliable partner for energy supply, in virtue of a consolidated experience in their respective areas and the sharing of strategic objectives.

Both in the electricity and natural gas market, Hei ensures customers a competitive and efficient supervision during key working phases of supply and dispatching. Growth on a national and international scale is a goal of Hei, while always keeping strong connection with its own territory.

Raufoss Fuel Systems is a leading developer and manufacturer of complete storage systems for alternative fuels. The product range includes lightweight and easy-to-install systems for storing CNG and compressed hydrogen. The company offers products with a long and proven market-record as well as concepts designed for cost-effective mass-production.

Located 100 km north of Oslo, Raufoss Fuel Systems is a member of Hexagon Composites Group, one of Scandinavia’s leading developers and producers of composites using advanced production technology to commercially develop new innovative products. Together with US-based sister company Lincoln Composites, Raufoss Fuel Systems is a global supplier of complete storage systems for alternative fuels.

According to the statutes of NGVA Europe all nominations of members willing to join the Board have to be approved by the yearly General Assembly. The next meeting will take place 11 – 13 June 2013 in Gothenburg (Sweden), during the activities of NGV 2013 Gothenburg. Following NGV2012 Bologna’s success NGV 2013 Gothenburg will feature exhibitions, workshops and presentations by high level speakers, examining the perspectives of CNG, LNG, biomethane & natural gas as fuel and debating those with the public.
