FLO Awards Framework Agreement to Bergen Group

The framework agreement runs for four years and has an estimated total value of approximately $9.9 million.

CEO Asle Solheim, very satisfied with the new maintenance and service agreement, said “Bergen Group has for a long time worked on developing the Group’s expertise and capacity in carrying out complex marine projects. This Framework Agreement with the Norwegian Armed Forces is therefore also very important for our strategy“.

The agreement includes propulsion engines on a variety of naval vessels and combat vehicles, among others, the engines on the navy’s Skjold- class coastal corvettes, minesweeper vessels and frigates.

Bergen Group Services AS, a fully owned subsidiary of Bergen Group ASA, has approximately 140 employees and is responsible for the Group’s maritime service operations. The activity is today headquartered at Laksevåg in Bergen, but will in the future be co-locating much of the activity with the group’s other activities Hanøytangen at Askøy outside Bergen.
