”This is an important achievement for the company as the offshore wind market continues to expand and yield improvement through operational data intelligence become increasingly important. We are excited and looking forward to work with SSE again in this new partnership,” BMO Offshore said.

The 588MW Beatrice offshore wind farm is being constructed some 13 kilometres off the Caithness coast in Scotland.

Over a third of the wind farm’s 84 Siemens Gamesa 7MW wind turbines have been installed so far in the Outer Moray Firth.

The full commissioning of the wind farm is scheduled for Spring 2019.

The GBP 2.6 billion wind farm is being developed by Beatrice Offshore Windfarm Limited (BOWL), a joint venture partnership between SSE (40%), Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (35%) and Red Rock Power Limited (25%).
