Boskalis Ups Stake in Dockwise to 29 Pct (The Netherlands)

Royal Boskalis Westminster N.V. (“Boskalis”) yesterday acquired approximately 11.5 million shares in Dockwise. This shareholding represents 29% of the shares in the Dutch heavy-lift and transportation specialist.

Boskalis yesterday announced its intention to acquire Dockwise for a total consideration of EUR 682 million ($883,8 million).

The company has said that the combination of the two companies provides new strategic opportunities for accelerated growth of the offshore services.
