Cameron Opens New Facility in Aberdeen
Oil & Gas UK Chief Executive Deirdre Michie formally opened new Aberdeen base for Cameron Flow Control Technology (UK) Ltd.
Accompanied by Cameron’s Regional Vice President, Global Vice-President for Services, Regional Manager and Business Development Director, Deirdre toured the new facility, which will increase Cameron’s capacity for repairs and rental services, customer storage and inventory management services.
Commenting after the visit, Deirdre Michie said: “These facilities are testament to the adaptability and innovation of Cameron that is very much part of their history and their DNA.
“This industry is going through really challenging times with businesses having to make some tough decisions. However companies like Cameron are also recognising that they need to invest to stay ahead- they know that this industry will come through this – and that it must be one that is competitive and fit for purpose if it is to be sustainable.
“By listening to their customers and working with them to provide for their changing needs, Cameron is putting itself in a more positive position for the future.”
New facility is located in the Gateway Business Park in Aberdeen, UK.
