ShipConstructor's New Knowledge Base to Become Operational on May 7th

ShipConstructor Software Inc. will launch a new and improved Knowledge Base (KB) for technical support of the company’s shipbuilding CAD/CAM application on May 7th, 2012.

All content from the previous KB will be maintained but will be transferred to the Confluence Platform. Confluence is an Enterprise Wiki program from Atlassian considered to be the leading content and social collaboration tool for technical documentation and knowledge management. The Confluence Platform features a high level of stability, allows revision history tracking, and offers enhanced search capabilities through its advanced search syntax.

As with the previous KB, the ShipConstructor Support Team will continue to frequently update the Knowledge Base with information related to specific issues, answers to questions, workarounds, troubleshooting procedures and guides to best practices. Due to the wealth of data contained within the KB, it is a valuable resource for ShipConstructor clients.

ShipConstructor Software Inc is the creator of an Autodesk based shipbuilding CAD/CAM application. The majority of the US Navy and Coast Guard’s future fleet is being 3D modeled by shipyards utilizing ShipConstructor software.
