Cape lands gig on ConocoPhillips’ Teesside facility

UK’s Cape has won a new contract with ConocoPhillips, to provide fabrication, mechanical, engineering and instrumentation services to the oil company’s facility at Seal Sands on Teesside, UK.

The initial term for the contract is 5 years and Cape is mobilizing on site with immediate effect. Cape said that the contract was a multi-million pound one, but it did not reveal the exact amount in its statement on Thursday.

ConocoPhillips operates the Teesside terminal. Operations comprise both processing and tanker-loading facilities covering a 307-acre site at Seal Sands, at the mouth of the river Tees.

Crude oil and natural gas liquids from ConocoPhillips’ J-Block and Greater Ekofisk Area offshore fields are delivered to Teesside as well as third party volumes from other areas of the North Sea.
