Capetan Tassos Joins Euroseas’ Fleet

Greek owner and operator of dry bulk and container ships Euroseas has taken delivery of M/V Capetan Tassos, a Panamax dry bulk carrier it acquired in November 2016.

The 75,100 dwt ship was purchased for around USD 4.4 million from Greek-based shipping company Tri-Marine Shipping.

The bulker was built by Japanese shipbuilder Hitachi in 2000.

Euroseas’ fleet is currently comprised of 14 vessels, including one Kamsarmax, three Panamaxes, one Ultramax, one Handymax dry bulk carrier, and eight feeder containerships.

The company has also signed a contract for the construction of one Kamsarmax dry bulk carrier.
