CCCC Wins Two Offshore Wind Contracts in China

CCCC Third Harbour Engineering has won contracts for two offshore wind projects in China, valued at some RMB 1.6 billion (approx. EUR 204 million) in total. 

For the 400MW Yangjiang Nanpeng Island wind farm off Guangdong Province, developed by China General Nuclear Power Corporation (CGN), Third Harbour Engineering has been awarded a contract worth RMB 620 million (approx. EUR 80 million) for a construction period of 13 months.

The company is in charge of the delivery of jacket foundations, installation of 18 wind turbines, and construction and installation of the jacket foundation for the booster station.

The second contract, valued at RMB 953 million (approx. EUR 124 million), has been signed for China Datang Corporation’s 300MW offshore wind farm in Binhai in Jiangsu Province, the Datang Jiangsu Binhai Offshore Wind Farm.

For the project, Third Harbour Engineering is the main contractor and will deliver and install the foundations, 50 wind turbines and turbine towers.
