Beijing Hosts CCCG & CCCC 2013 Work Conference

From March 18 to 19, CCCG & CCCC 2013 Work Conference was held at CCCC Building in Beijing.

In strict accordance with the requirements of the Notice on the Thorough Learning and Implementation of the Eight Regulations of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee on Improving Work Style and Maintaining Close Ties with the Masses by Central Enterprises released by the Party Committee of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, under the principles of pragmatism, efficiency and frugality, the conference hung no banner, set up no backdrop, placed no flower or plants, provided no tea break and arranged no photo taking, saving the cost by over 80 percent compared to previous years.

The group leaders were self-disciplined, realistic, pragmatic and exemplary. The new style and look made deep impression on all attendees.

Present were Dong Shukui, chairman of the Board of Supervisors of the State Council in CCCG; members of CCCC’s board of directors, board of supervisors and business body, members of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of CCCC and representatives of the Board of Supervisors of the State Council in CCCG. Among over 160 attendees were CCCC’s chief engineer and president assistant, as well as persons in charge of all departments and business divisions of CCCC’s headquarters, all regional headquarters, subsidiaries and project departments directly under CCCC.

The conference’s primary tasks are comprehensively implementing the spirit of the 18th CPC National Congress and the Central Economic Work Conference, comprehensively implementing the arrangements of the Central Economic Work Conference, summarizing CCCC’s key tasks in 2012, analyzing situation, arranging the key tasks for 2013, and mobilizing cadres and staff to reform, innovate, adjust and improve in a bid to take the lead in building a world leading enterprise.

The conference fixed the guideline for CCCC’s reform and development in 2013: centering on increasing development quality and benefit, keeping to the development theme of “reform, innovation, adjustment and improvement“, laying emphasis on “maintaining foundation, strengthening primary businesses, adjusting structure, promoting transformation and going out to develop markets“, and taking management improvement as the basis and talent and party building as the guarantee, in a bid to take the lead in building a world leading enterprise.

Also, the conference commended relevant advanced entities and collectives.
