CCCC Gets New Chairman

On April 26, the 29th meeting of the 2nd Board of Directors of CCCC took place in Beijing.

The meeting elected Liu Qitao as chairman of CCCC, chairman of the Strategy Committee and chairman of the Nomination Committee of the Board of Directors. Due to his advanced age, former Chairman Zhou Jichang resigned as executive director and chairman of CCCC and chairman of the Special Committee of the Board.

On behalf of the Board, Liu extended high respect and heartfelt thanks to Zhou for his outstanding contribution to CCCC’s development during his tenure. Zhou expressed sincere gratitude to the Board for their trust and support during his tenure and extended good wish for CCCC’s future development.

The Company and its subsidiaries are principally engaged in the design and construction of transportation infrastructure, dredging and heavy machinery manufacturing business. It covers the following business aspects: port, terminal, road, bridge, railway, tunnel, civil work design and construction, capital dredging and reclamation dredging, container crane, heavy marine machinery, large steel structure and road machinery manufacturing, and international project contracting, import and export trading services.
