CIC Completes Maintenance for 5 Sets of 2.5 MW Motors from SEAR-STIEE (China)

Recently, Shanghai Shiyi Electrical Machinery Co., Ltd, the subsidiary of China Shipping Industry Co. (CIC) took the task of maintenance for 5 sets of 2.5MW motor from SEAR-STIEE.

As an authority department of electrical machinery industry, SEAR-STIEE takes charge of testing new innovated motors and issues the production licenses to the related manufacturers. SEAR-STIEE sets high requirements on the records of disassembly of electrical machine, maintenance, installation, adjusting, load testing.

This time, SEAR-STIEE valued the bidders by testing a 2500KW synchronous motor to achieve the rated load. Facing this high requirement, most of competitors gave up. While, as far Shanghai Shiyi Electrical Machinery Company was concerned, it was not only a challenge, but also a good opportunity to test & upgrade its own technical level of maintenance.
