China: CNPC, Rosneft Talk Cooperation

On August 30, CNPC Chairman Zhou Jiping met with Igor Sechin, Rosneft President and Chairman of the Management Board, in Beijing.

With great confidence in the smooth execution of relevant cooperation agreements already signed, they had a profound discussion on strengthening energy strategic cooperation between the two sides. CNPC said in a statement.

During their meeting, Rosneft elaborated on the cooperation conditions and development prospects of the proposed projects.

CNPC expressed its willingness to step up the preparation work and continue to push forward collaboration based on a solid cooperation foundation between CNPC and Rosneft.​
