QHS Hands Over Multi-Purpose Vessel Yashma

Qingdao Hyundai Shipbuilding (QHS) held, on Dec 18th, a delivery signing ceremony for a multipurpose dry cargo vessel of 5,025 DWT named Yashma. The ship of DCV36 Project comes as the final vessel out of ten newbuilds ordered by VBTH .

Vessels of DCV36 project, unlike previous dry cargo vessels series (RSD44 and RSD49 projects) built for the Russian company, are seagoing vessel of unrestricted sailing region. This project has corresponding safety factor, thickness of hull elements and main engines capacity.

The vessel is steel single-deck motor-ship with single cargo hold, single screw, forecastle and poop, deck-house and engine-room located aft, a double bottom and double sides in the cargo area, removable grain bulkheads, bulb fore and transom aft ends, hatch covers of “folding” type of Cargotech firm and bow thruster.

Double bottom is designed for distributed load intensity of 14.0 t / sqm and for bucket grab usage.
