Repaired Tanker TENG CHI Leaves CIC Lixin Shipyard

Recently, CIC Lixin Shipyard successfully completed the repair work of M/T TENG CHI which belongs to China Shipping Development Co., Ltd. Tanker Company, and won the appraisal from the owner.

The subject vessel’s repair work included the renewal of main deck steam pipes and air pipes, the overhaul of 10 steam valves, the installment of 100t fairlead rollers on poop deck and a bilge water tank of 5 cbm in E/R, the removal and overhaul of 2 sets of Aluminum alloy gangway ladders, the renewal of manhole gaskets on main deck and other scattered jobs. The shipyard properly arranged the work force according to the owner’s requirement on repair quality and duration. The repair team kept close communication and ensured the on-time departure of subject vessel.

When renewing the steam pipes, all workers strictly adhered to the owner’s requirement and passed the pipe test one time. It only took 5 days for the shipyard  to finish all these repair projects.
