Peterson said that the 18-month contract extension, with options for three further one-year extensions, would see Peterson support Chrysaor’s North Sea assets and includes warehousing, transport, and marine services.

The deal also includes the provision of eight offshore materials controllers for the Armada, North Everest, and Lomond production platforms.

According to the company, the extension builds on a successful partnership developed over the past 18 months when Peterson started supporting Chrysaor’s logistics requirements.

The work will be serviced from Peterson’s bases in Altens and Edzell and is expected to see around 50,000 tonnes of cargo moving through Torry Marine Base.

To support this contract, Peterson has welcomed nine additional employees, in both onshore and offshore roles.

Chris Coull, regional director at Peterson, added: “This contract extension demonstrates the strong relationship and trust we have built with Chrysaor over the past 18 months and we are very excited to be able to continue to support this forward-thinking business.”
