Since the owners of m/v “New Champion” was quite satisfied with the repair quality of CIC-Shipyards, they decided to award its sister vessel “Lumoso Karunia” to CIC Boluomiao Shipyard again. The yard overcame all kinds of difficulties, organized labor force and finished the extensive steel renewal project.

Every workshop arranged the detailed plan and took the measure for safety requirements. The persons in charge followed up the project progress to settle the difficulties timely and contacted with the owners closely so that to solve the problem immediately. Meanwhile, since there were lots of overlapping jobs to be carried out, the yard instructed the subcontractors to work day and night according to the key projects and time schedule. This strategy ensured the projects finished safely on schedule.

On Dec 8th, the steel renewal of DBTs was almost completed before the vessel’s docking. On Dec. 15th, the steel renewal in dock of approx. 30 tons and regular dock repair were finished.
