CMS-Geotech Sets Up Plymouth Base

CMS-Geotech has established a new operational site at the new Oceansgate Marine Enterprise Zone in Britain’s Ocean City of Plymouth.

This new development brings together marine-based businesses to create a world-class hub for marine industries, with opportunities for research, innovation and production in a collaborative environment.

As part of a planned expansion of the company the new site will be a base for some of geotechnical team and equipment as well as housing new labs in four of the units at Oceansgate.

Managing Director, David Hitchcock, said “We have begun the fitting out of the units and are hoping to officially open our new site in early July. This is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of the new home of British marine enterprise in Plymouth and I am confident that there is an exciting future ahead for CMS-Geotech.”

The existing site in Lowestoft will remain, where the CMS multipurpose survey vessel MV FlatHolm is based, along with existing labs and geotechnical equipment and the company will continue to provide geotechnical service both in the UK and globally.
