ConocoPhillips Wireline Deal for Archer

Archer has been awarded a five-year contract by ConocoPhillips for the provision of mechanical wireline services for the Norwegian Continental Shelf.

The contract was awarded to Archer following a tender process for ConocoPhillips’ well intervention services in Norway.

Archer has provided wireline intervention and cased hole logging services for ConocoPhillips since 2009 and the current contract would have expired in January 2017. The new contract will start on May 1, 2016 and will last until April 30, 2021.

Jan Vader, vice president Wireline, said: “We are extremely pleased with the confidence ConocoPhillips places in Archer by giving us the opportunity to continue to work for them for an additional five years. It demonstrates our dedication and commitment to delivering safe, efficient and solutions-oriented services to our clients, and the value this offers to ConocoPhillips’ operations in Norway.”
