COSCO Hands Over Three Newbuilds

COSCO Corporation (Singapore) Limited announced deliveries of three newbuilding vessels.

COSCO’s shipbuilding arm Dalian Shipyard delivered a 22,000 DWT Oil Tanker, named Atalanta, to its undisclosed Asian buyer. However, based on available data, the vessel is managed and operated by oil refinery Coastal Refining.

The Singapore-flagged vessel measures 150 meters in LOA (length of all), 36 meters in breadth and 12.5 meters in depth and is classed by Class NK.

According to the latest vessel tracking data by Marine Traffic, the tanker is underway in China East Sea heading for Singapore.

COSCO’s Zhoushan Shipyard handed over a 64,000 DWT bulk barrier, Arabellato Lomar Shipping. The vessel is also flagged by Singapore. It measures 199.9 meters in LOA (length of all), 32.26 meters in breadth and 18.5 meters in depth.

Finally, the group’s Guangdong Shipyard deliverd of a Platform Supply Vessel, named, Terry Tide, to an undisclosed buyer based in the US. The vessel measures 83.75 meters in LOA (length of all), 18 meters in breadth and 7 meters in depth.
