Cruiseship Scrapes Hoegh Gallant

A cruise ship has scratched Hoegh LNG’s FSRU, the Höegh Gallant, at a Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding’s yard.

The Höegh Gallant was moored to a jetty on Wednesday, January 21st at the yard when a Carnival Cruises’ cruise ship, Costa Atlantica, on its way out, lightly touched her in the front, on the bulb.

“This caused limited damage and no changes to her schedule,” Spokesperson of Höegh LNG Holdings told World Maritime News.

Hoegh Gallant is undergoing an upgrade at the yard before it begins a five-year charter with Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Co (Egas).
