Dalian Shipbuilding Delivers VLCC Coswisdom Lake

China’s shipbuilder Dalian Shipbuilding Industry delivered the newly-built Very Large Crude Carrier (VLCC) Coswisdom Lake to its owner earlier in November, according to data by shipping services provider Clarksons.

Featuring 308,019 dwt, the tanker has joined COSCO Shipping Energy Transportation’s fleet of over 100 vessels.

With a length of 333 meters and a width of 60 meters, the vessel has a capacity of 332,191 cubic meters.

According to data provided by MarineTraffic, the ship departed Dalian on November 12 and is on its way to Singapore, where it is scheduled to arrive on November 21.

The tanker was ordered in January 2014 under an en bloc agreement for a price of USD 90 million, according VesselsValue.

Coswisdom Lake’s current market value stands at USD 73 million.
