Danish Energy Agency released prior information notice concerning 450 MW offshore wind power turbines which are to be installed in nearshore areas.

Bids will be submitted for six different areas which have been designated for this tender. The prospected nearshore sites are located in the North Sea off the West coast of Denmark (2 areas), Småland Waters, Bornholm, Sæby and in the bay of Sejerø.

The tender will consist of one comprehensive call for tenders for all six areas so that the areas are in competition with each other. Each area will site max. 200 MW.

An area may, however, include several smaller projects. The tender will be a negotiated tender with prequalification.

This includes technical dialogue with potential tenderers, both regarding the preliminary tender material and the preliminary geological, EIA and MetOcean surveys.
